SCHOOL DAYS IN MAY
AT BILLIE CREEK
 

      Every spring Billie Creek Village opens the gates and welcomes students from schools throughout the region.  Every Thursday and Friday during the month of May, students of all ages spend a day at Billie Creek and learn first hand how our rural ancestors lived during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.    Teachers simply need to fill out the reservation and registration form and send it in to Billie Creek Village.

      The School Days In May dates for 2008 are May 1st & 2nd, 8th & 9th, 15th & 16th
22nd & 23rd.   Admission is $4.00 per person and includes a horse drawn wagon ride to the farm and the Leatherwood Station covered bridge.  There will be an optional sack lunch available by pre arrangement.  Personalized souvenir horseshoes have been a popular keepsake for the students throughout the years and are available for $5.00 each.  Please place your horseshoe order at least two weeks prior to your visit to assure that the blacksmith has time to hammer out the names of the purchasing students.  Should you have any questions regarding School Days In May or any of the special events at Billie Creek Village please contact us at:
